Jill Brady has lived in Lake Forest Park for 22 years with her husband Scott Smith (a 1984 Shorecrest graduate) and their two children, Zane (a 2017 Shorecrest graduate) and Tatum (a junior). Jill has a Business degree from the University of Washington and has worked tirelessly in the Shoreline School District and in her children’s schools for over fifteen years, earning many accolades along the way, including the Golden Acorn Award. She served on the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation Board for six years (2010-2016), including two as President, and has served on numerous district committees, such as the Shoreline School District Secondary Science Acceleration Committee and the District Awards Committee. Jill has also served on multiple successful School Bond/Levy Campaigns, both as member of the Citizen’s Campaign for Shoreline Schools and as an elementary school liaison. As a longtime member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), she has attended numerous Washington State PTA conferences and legislative assemblies, including several advocacy events, such as Focus Day efforts to support a fully funded public education in Washington State. Among her many volunteer activities, she served as PTA President, Science Night Chair, Legislative Chair and Member at Large at Lake Forest Park Elementary School, and at Ridgecrest Elementary School, where her son attended the hi-cap program, she helped organize the walk-a-thon and served as the PTA Family Services Co-Chair (including the Holiday Baskets & Food Drive). She continued her involvement at Kellogg Middle School with various PTA events, in addition to organizing a program to host visiting Japanese students. Most recently Jill served as the 2017 Shorecrest Spree Committee Co-Chair.
